Historic Peaceful Demonstration for The Cuban Family Reunification Program in Washington D.C.

Updated: Jul 25, 2021

Last July 19th, 2021, more than 150 members of CAMAFS.ORG were in Washington D.C in a historic Peaceful Demonstration to request this administration to make real the promise made to the Cuban American Families.

Representing more than 45,000 Cuban American Families, the claim to this administration to find a final solution for over 100,000 visas backlog was listening. The participants cried out between tears, joy, and enthusiasm, "We want our families here, We need our families here" Please, Mr. President, Help us!

Expressed different histories: mothers in need of their children, desperate parents asking for the compassion of this administration to respect what President Biden promised in November of 2019 when he said, "As president, I will reinstate the Cuban Family Reunification Parole Program." But the truth is that President Biden has been in the White House for over 6 months, and Cuban American Families are still awaiting that he can make his promise real.
